The theme for our mid-week services during Lent was “Lead Me, Lord.” Each week, we gathered for a simple supper followed by a worship service. During the worship service, a member of the congregation shared a portion of his or her faith journey. If you missed any of these worship services, don’t worry! You can listen to the messages from each week here.

Faith is excited to welcome the Celtic band, Points of Roguery, on Sunday, March 2, for a freewill offering concert at 7 p.m. They will also be providing music for our morning worship services.
Points of Roguery have been playing both nationally and internationally since 2007, formed by Faith Lutheran musician Julia Brundage. They have played for President Obama and President George W. Bush, as well as many high ranking military officials. In 2010, they deployed to the war zones to entertain our troops, coalition troops, and played shows in Iraq, Kuwait, Afghanistan, and Kyrgyzstan. They’ve shared concert venues such as DAR Constitution Hall and the Strathmore with both Ronan Tynan and the Rogues.
A mix of stunning 4 part vocals and rousing traditional Irish instrumental music will put you in the mood for a great St. Patrick’s Day! Please join us!
Our obsession with collecting data today often neglects emotion in the systems in which we live and work, and underestimates the power of one’s own response to illness, crisis, or other challenges in life.
