Join in a special Lenten Journey

Faith invites you to join other members of Faith in reading a daily devotional book by Diane Jacobson, Book of Faith Lenten Journey: Water Mark. This book has devotional readings for each day of the Lenten Season. It will also be the focus of our Wednesday evening Lenten worship services. For those interested, from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. each Wednesday, during the soup supper, we will have a discussion of that week’s devotionals in the Fellowship Hall Lounge. Bring your dinner and book, and join the discussion.

Christmas Eve at Faith

Join us in celebrating the Nativity of our Lord! Candlelight services will take place on Saturday, December 24, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. Each music-filled worship service is followed by a Christmas Eve reception in the Fellowship Hall.

Midweek Advent Vespers Starting Tonight

On Wednesday evenings during Advent, come to Faith Lutheran Church for a contemplative vespers service, the Holden Evening Prayer by Marty Haugen. The first vespers service takes place tonight, November 30, at 7:30 p.m. Come early for cookies and coffee.

FREE Celtic Concert!

On Sunday, November 20, at 4:00 p.m., Points of Roguery will be giving a free concert at Faith Lutheran Church.

Points of Roguery take great classic Irish tunes and put a new spin on them, playing anything from instrumental reel sets, fast foot-stomping tunes, to sweet ballades. This unique quartet of musicians not only play instruments, but are professional vocalists. Come meet Julia Brundage, Joseph Haughton, Eric Sullivan, and Emily Lewis at our morning services, then come back that afternoon for a bit of the Craic!

Preschool Shopping Day – November 9

Faith Lutheran Preschool is planning to have a fundraising shopping day in the Fellowship Hall on Wednesday, November 9th from 9:30-11:30 a.m. We will have tables with various vendors including: Discovery Toys, Pampered Chef, Stella and Dot, Dough a Go-Go and more. 10% of proceeds will go to Faith Lutheran Preschool. The event is open to the public.
