Confirmation

In the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA), confirmation ministry helps a student identify more deeply with the Christian community and participate more fully in its mission.

We at Faith Lutheran Church are dedicated to this goal by offering confirmation classes for students entering the 6th, 7th, 8th or 9th grades. Our Confirmation program is two years long and includes classroom instruction, retreats, a week-long summer camp shared with other students from the Washington, D.C., area, social ministry and other peer-group opportunities.
